Back when people actually used to do the deep, it was common to have a wall that contained spirits, pets, and minions. RitLord ritualists were a commonality.

They were part of the original 6 man Deep builds, so yeah I gotta say they were good. But I heard its all [[Ursan] now, so you'll have troubles getting a group regardless.
Here's the build, as far as I can tell from all my different stored templates, if you want a starting point.

rofl, splinter+ancestors is looking pretty nice with spirit rift in comparison with my ele ever since they nerfed mind blast
but for the op, it is all ursan guild groups anyways, so if ur rit is r10 norn then ya, you can bring it

If you wanna go as a rit and not a Ursan for this you could still take splinter and AR as Ursans do go melee range. Nothing wrong with making their auto attacks AoE plus a little extra damage on the side.
I just went with an alliance group today that was a lot of rits actually. One was a Raven Blessing for blind, one was a spirit spammer (damage), and the other was a bip with wells too.

Nobody ursans deep. At least, not well. Hard to heal, got to do baby pulls, generally takes ages.
You might get a pug team with DarkFlame's build - but it's unlikely you will get far.

i thought rits generally would just do a typical ritlord build in the deep.

A friend of mine once had an idea for a rit build set up as a back up healer for the monks in a steelman setup. It was centered around party wide heals such as chaining multiple [Protective Was Kaolai] for party-wide heals in the starting areas of the Deep. Once all the members were back together, the rit would then use skills such as [Rejuvenation], [Song of Restoration] and [ballad of restoration] to help keep the tanks alive. Of course, this would require a battery to use but looked pretty effective on pen and paper.
I'm sure there's better alternatives but that's the one we came up with. Now if we can just get more guildmates to Cavalon! xD

Well I still think [life] would be more useful than [rejuvenation]. Interesting idea though, I've never used a Rt/P before so I might try this out.

I did the Deep with an alliance team yesterday. This was my build:
[build prof=Rt name="Lhim is in Deep .." cha=12+1+1 res=12+2 spa=3][offering of spirit][protective was kaolai][splinter weapon][ancestors rage][spirit light][life][recuperation][death pact signet][/build]
It worked very well, but next time I'll switch out Spirit Light. Maybe for Spirit Rift.

Yeah, it's just simply a timed spike heal ([life]) versus a anti-pressure heal ([rejuvenation]). Both have their uses, finding out when to use which is the real test.

Life isn't really "timed", seeing as predicting 20 seconds into the future is impossible. I only use it for the spells that benefit from spirits (OoS, MB&S, etc) with a surprise party heal at the end.
Rejuvenation is pretty nice, seeing as it doesn't waste the health gain, but if you're under a lot of pressure, well it dies....fast.

Meh. I'd still take Life over Rejuvenation simply cause with each hit from an enemy Rejuv becomes more worthless and because Life has shorter recharge.

Rejuvenation gets better the less people you have in your party. In a 4-man area, it'll vastly outperform life. In a place like The Deep, life wins handily.
